week 9

This is a 25 minutes sketch,with 6B pencil.This drawing consists of an ashtray and two little medicine bottles.It shows metal and plastic texturing when its hitten by light and composition of three items of differnet materials.The wrong thing is that shading has to be more smooth and not so intense.

Week 8

This is a 15 minute sketch.i used 2B and 4B pencils.The elipse isnt so goodon the bowl.although  the shadows are good and shows the light on the bowl.The coffee pot doesnt looks that is half  touching the table and thats the main problem in this drawing.

I think this is a 35 minutes sketch.I used 4B and 6B pencils to do it.This sketch shows the shadows and lighting of the items.also shows how the items are on to the fabric .I didnt find something very hard in this sketch.The items look like on the fabric and not floating and thats very good.

This is about 20 minutes .I used 4B pencil..Good shading in the first item at the left.But the thing that isnt good in this drawing is the shape of the  sphere.it looks like an egg  .Nevertheless the depth is good  on this drawing .I  tried to do good shading in all of the items although it looks quick,its just the way shading is done.

Week 5

                   This is a 20 minutes sketch.I used 2B pencil and charcoal in some points.I found hard to
                   draw the trees that were far away.It was like the shadow of the trees.Theres not  a lot of
                    measuring.i just draw what was in front of me but i ignore some people near the stairs.

This is a 25 minutes sketch with 2B pencil.I like the fabric and how smooth it looks.but the lines of the stools are not so straight.The very black points are looking good but the stool under the fabric seems too long  and not so on the table,more like floating.

Week 6-week 7

   

This is a 15 minutes sketch.Charcoal used for this sketch.The curtain is good and looks like curtain.There are some light shades of buildings on the window and thats good because we can see outised but there have to be more intense and the window be total white or total black so we can see the difference.But is good and has good proportion of the items.

 

This is a box and up to it a scarf and an empty small plastic box which is transparent.It took me about 20 minutes.The small box isnt so good,because the lines are a little crooked.The good part is the scarf,because is like waving and thats the feeling has to show.

This was a sketch with 8B pencil.Its a sketch with not so many details,but the outlines are good and in some way they seem metalic.The fabric has to has more shades and not be so white.

The scanner makes the background a little cloudy and a little darker,but the items has the right luminocity,the same as it was. The sketch is  about  25 minutes.The vase is like floating and not on the table,but the flowers on it are look really inside the vase.The shades are good on the fabric and vase,look real.

week 4

This is a digital camera.This sketch is a 15 minute sketch..The drawing is too simple.with no table or ground and thats not good.the lines are correct and the tones of grey are good in every point.The big circle looks like is from paper because is a little crooked.

This sketch took me about 17 minutes.Is a diary and a polish..The shadows dont look good ,have to be more intese,are too light and the diary too.The lines on the diary are too straight,and the lines into look strange as the light hit the diary,so they have to be more smooth.The pages are good but there s have to be a table,because the items look in a raw and be on the ground with no ground.

Week 3

This is a 15 minute sketch.The fruits are realistic enough and the sketch has very good and smooth tones because there is no hard lines.Also the shades of vegetables down are good,but the bowl is like floating because of the same tone of black on the floor and the background.One other thing has to be improved is the apple because the change of black to white is abrupt and not seem so good to the eye as a fruit.

This is a  17 minutes sketch.Is a full bottle of water behind a glass of water.The good thing is that the water on the glass looks like liquid with this shading,but the lines of the glass have to be more straight.The bottom of the bottle looks good and inside the bottle because of the lines are planned in front of it, on the other hand the curves of the bottle looks kind of fake.Its good that some shadows exists and they dont look floating.

Week 2

Week 2

First Sketch:

This is a 40 minutes sketch.Its a frame and  the sculpture of a skull.The meaning  this drawing wants to show is  the oppositeness of life and death.Its good tha the frame is darker than the photo so the face doesnt seem to be out of the frame.Same for the skull,it s darker than the photo so it seems in front of it as it is.
 Theres no table sketched but these lines under the items are enough to show that there are not floating.
The frame has hard lines and has to be more smooth,and the other thing is that the back of the frame has the same black tone as the front so makes no difference when you see it.

First week

These are my drawing for week 1

First sketch:

 This took me about 45minutes.Is a high-heel shoe and a perfume.The perfume is in not so good position,and the line that is kissing with the shoe  is not so realistic,so the perfume not seem so in front of the shoe.But the shadows on the bottle and shoe are very good,and the tones of black and grey are in the right place.The elipse on the bottle is not so good,has to be more like a circle on the sides.



Second sketch:

 This took me about 30 minutes.Its a cigarette next to a glass of water.The mistake is that is planned  of a close view so the glass is seem a little crooked.Its good that the table is planned and there are the shades of glass and cigarette.The shadows on the glass are good but not so realistic.Again the measurment looks good,if we imagine a cigarette next to a glass.

Third sketch:

This sketch took me about 15 minutes.Its a small box and grapes up and next to it.The fruits seem to have good shape and match with the box.But the box is crooked on the cap and the eclipse is not good enough.Is good that has some shadows but would look more on the ground if there was the table sketced so wouldnt float.But it looks kind of good as a quick sketch.
